This information is provided as a guide to determining the grade of a coin. Each side of a coin should be considered separately since they may be different grades. Early Russian coins can be very crude in how the design was stamped. Some coins have very little detail available in the design.

75% of detail.

Extremely Fine (EF)

Some wear on crown and eagle wings high points

Most detail present.

May be some luster.

Almost Uncirculated (AUC)

All detail visible.  Little wear on crown and eagle wings high points

50% luster exists

Almost all detail.

Uncirculated (Unc)

No wear

Almost all luster
